Hi, I'm Jessica Mickelson!

Originally from a charming suburb of Dallas, Texas, I now call the East Coast home, thanks to my husband’s career. By trade, I’m a family and individual therapist, a role I embraced for seven years. Currently, I work in land acquisition, which offers me the flexibility to be present for my four wonderful kiddos.

I have a passion for all things Disney and make it a point to convince my family to wear matching Halloween costumes every year (they love it—at least I think they do!). I also thrive on hosting unforgettable parties. In addition, I own Sign Gypsies Lehigh Valley, where I spread JOY throughout the Lehigh Valley Metro with fun, celebratory yard signs.

One of my biggest passions is baking! I love decorating sweet treats late at night after everyone is asleep. Although I no longer take custom orders due to my busy schedule, I’m proud to be a licensed cottage bakery in the state of Pennsylvania.

Classes: I teach cookie decorating classes at Creative Learning Lab and other locations! Whether you’re looking for a fun adult night out at Wine and Ice or a kids' class during the day, there’s something for everyone. Parents are welcome to join the kids' classes, but please note that a seat must be purchased due to the limited studio space.

Cookie Videos: I love creating cookie decorating videos! My goal is to make them more instructional, with detailed notes on icing consistencies, tips, and techniques. Plus, since I’m a self-proclaimed product junkie, I always tag the products I use so you can try them too!
